Every now and then a utility comes along that revolutionises security and safety in computing. In DOS days, no sane person went computing without Norton Utilities within hand's reach. Wild File's GoBack looks like it could well become just as essential for users of Windows 95 and 98.

This amazing program works beneath Windows, logging all disk write activity. It can then restore your computer to any state since disk logging commenced, allowing your system to travel back in time.

If you install a program and your system suddenly becomes unstable, you can use GoBack to reset your machine to its state prior to the installation. If you download a virus from the Internet and infect your machine, you can recover from the damage and return to your previous uninfected state. If you completely erase a bunch of files and then find you need them, you can get them back with GoBack.

The really nice thing with GoBack is that you don't have to lose everything you've done since the error occurred, as you can access files from any period since logging began. This goes way beyond programs such as Uninstaller.
