When you first install ICQ, the ICQ panel looks pretty barren. If you take the time to explore it you’ll find there’s quite a lot there, as you can see in the screenshot below.
Once you add some contacts and switch to Advanced Mode (see item 3 in the screenshot above), the ICQ panel really starts to fill up. As well as most of the Simple Mode options, you’ll find all sorts of tools as you can see in this next screenshot.
